Founder of Daejin Copper pipe&tube Chairman Kim Dong-Jun (1930.04.23 ~ 2010.06.08)

Kim Dong-Jun, the founder of ‘Daejin Copper pipe&tube’ is a successful entrepreneur in South Korea.
Despite challenging environments, he has led the copper pipe manufacturing industry through relentless effort and dedication.

Childhood and Growth Journey
At a young age, I lost my parents and had to shoulder the responsibilities of being the eldest. The strong sense of responsibility and diligence left by my parents had a significant impact on my entire life. My relationships with my siblings were very close, and we relied on each other as we grew up.

Due to financial difficulties, I did not receive formal education, but I pursued self-learning and accumulated knowledge. Working various temporary jobs and factory jobs, I gained practical experience. I taught myself metal processing skills and always dreamed of a better future, striving for it.
Entrepreneurship and Early Business
In 1979, I founded Daejin Copper Pipe&Tube CO., LTD I started small with a scrap business and developed into manufacturing copper pipes using metal processing technology. I accumulated initial capital through various temporary jobs and factory work. In the early stages of business, I faced many challenges such as lack of capital and technical difficulties, but I overcame them with perseverance and hard work. Through continuous research and strategic focus on customer satisfaction, the company gradually grew.
Business Growth Period
Key factors that enabled the growth of Daejin Copper Pipe&Tube CO., LTD included high-quality products and rigorous quality control. We responded quickly to market changes, introduced new technologies, and achieved innovation.
